Fresh Onion Dish: How to Make Pickled Onions

Hello, this is Our Day :)!
Fresh onions have started coming out, haven't they?
When I go to the supermarket, a large sack full
I saw some fresh onions.
Because there aren't many family members
Although bulk purchases are not possible
Still, since new onions are out
I should make some pickled onions, right?:)
Actually, at home with my family
We decided to grill some meat for the first time in a while.
The one you can't do without at times like this heh
It's a dish made with fresh onions!

Preparing ingredients for pickled onions
4 onions
3 Cheongyang peppers
[Pickled Onion Sauce]
1 cup (180ml) of soy sauce
1/2 cup double-strength vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup of water
Smaller new onions are better.
I picked out the medium size.
Since both the ingredients and the method of making it are super simple
Be sure to try this with your meat.
Onion season
It is good to soak a generous amount,
Right away whenever you want to eat
You can also soak it and eat it.

After peeling and washing the fresh onions
Remove moisture,
Please cut it in half and divide it into 6 pieces.

To cut through the greasiness of the meat
It is good to add spicy Cheongyang peppers.

Please slice the Cheongyang peppers into 1cm thick pieces.
It is fine to use dried Cheongyang peppers.

Onions and peppers
Now it's ready to be marinated in soy sauce for a crispy texture :>

Pour 1 cup (180ml) of soy sauce into a bowl.

Please add 1 cup of water and 1/2 cup of sugar.

After mixing well, we are going to boil it now.

These days, I don't boil it,
There are also recipes that make it simple.
If you boil it, it has a deeper flavor and
I like that I can keep it for a long time.

When the soy sauce starts to boil,
Reduce the heat and boil for about 3 more minutes, and it's done.

After the soy sauce cools down
Please add 1/2 of double-strength vinegar.
now
containing prepared fresh onions and Cheongyang peppers
Please pour it into a glass bowl.
Store in the refrigerator
I will eat it when it turns a delicious soy sauce color.
I have to eat it with meat the next day
We broke up for a while haha

Ta-da!
Oops!
The soy sauce turned a pretty brown color,
That photo of it deliciously marinated…
no!

Without even time to photograph the submerged state
I finished it in a flash.
I got so absorbed in eating the meat lol
It's so delicious
Thanks to my family who enjoys eating it with such a crunchy texture
I forgot to film.
Crunchy, refreshing, and sweet,
With the added spiciness of Cheongyang peppers
We devoured all the fresh onion pickles I prepared in no time.

Needless to say, it goes without saying when eating meat.
It is the perfect accompaniment when eating greasy pancakes.
Enjoy making this delicious dish when fresh onions are in season!
