hello:)
Today, a super simple side dish I make often.
I will introduce a recipe for stir-fried fish cake.
It is a recipe that anyone can easily follow, and
With a harmonious blend of sweet and salty flavors, it is great as a side dish for rice,
It's also perfect as a snack to go with drinks!

Stir-fried fish cake recipe
[ingredient]
200g square fish cake (oden)
1/2 onion
1/2 stalk of green onion
1 Cheongyang chili pepper
2 tablespoons of cooking oil
[seasoning]
1 tablespoon of minced garlic
3 tablespoons of soy sauce
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon of corn syrup
A little sesame seeds
1 tablespoon of sesame oil

First, I will prepare all the ingredients.
Please cut the square fish cakes into bite-sized pieces.
I usually divide it into four squares or long ones
Cut it into a rectangular shape.
Cut into bite-sized pieces rather than too small.
It was easier to eat when cut into pieces.

Please slice the onion thinly.
If you slice it to a medium thickness rather than too thin, the texture is good.
Finely chop the green onions and Cheongyang peppers as well.
The aroma of green onions adds to the flavor of the stir-fried fish cake.
It raises it even higher.
If you want to adjust the spiciness, the seeds
Remove or adjust the amount.

Heat the pan over medium heat, add cooking oil, and
After making green onion oil by adding finely chopped green onions
Add sliced onions and sauté briefly, then add minced garlic
Sauté the onions until they become slightly translucent.
The sweetness of the onion serves as the base, giving the taste of the stir-fried fish cake
It makes it even richer.

When the onions become translucent, add the prepared fish cakes.
Stir-fry for 1~2 minutes. Turn the fish cake golden brown
Once it starts to change color, add soy sauce and stir-fry briefly.
Pour in water and boil over medium heat.
At this point, until there is just enough broth to cover the surface.
It is important to control it.

Actually, you don't have to add water, but,
If you add water and simmer, the fish cake becomes much more moist and soft!
The seasoning seeps evenly into the fish cake.
You can enjoy softer stir-fried fish cakes.

Once the broth has reduced somewhat, add the Cheongyang peppers.
Please stir-fry it a little more.

Add 1 tablespoon of corn syrup to add sweetness.

Finally, sprinkle sesame salt.
Turn off the heat, drizzle with a little sesame oil, and it's done!

As I took a bite of the stir-fried fish cake,
The sweet yet salty soy sauce on the fish cake
It seeps deep inside and the flavor spreads throughout the mouth.
You all know, right? Haha.
The texture of fish cake and the sweetness of onion,
The fragrant aroma of green onions blends harmoniously
It is a side dish that makes you keep reaching for more.

This time, I added water while cooking, and the fish cake was moist.
It has become softer and has an even richer umami flavor.
I want to eat it with rice with every spoonful
It makes your appetite well up—it's truly a rice thief!

You can also add various ingredients to the basic stir-fried fish cake.
If you julienne the carrots, the color is pretty too.
The texture should be good, right?... I don't have any carrots today, so I'll pass.
If you add shiitake mushrooms or enoki mushrooms
You can enjoy an even richer flavor.
You can also make it fish cake tteokbokki by adding tteokbokki rice cakes.
Try transforming it :)

The stir-fried fish cake recipe is really simple, isn't it!
It doesn't require many materials, and
The cooking time is also short, around 10 minutes, so busy
