In this post, side dishes to revive your appetite in the sweltering summer
Beef dishes that are good for restoring energy
I'm going to try making braised beef.
It is relatively simple even among meat dishes.
Even those living alone can easily give it a try.

The main ingredient I prepared today is beef shank.
American beef is also famous for its savory flavor!
Produced with strict quality control and sustainable farming methods
You can eat it with confidence because it is a safe product.

Beef is suitable for various cooking methods such as grilling, roasting, and braising.
There are various cuts, but today I'm using beef shank.
I’m going to make some mouth-watering braised beef using this~
Making Beef Jangjorim
[ingredient]
500g beef shank
1/2 onion, 1 green onion, 15 cloves of garlic,
Whole peppercorns, 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1.5 liters water
200g of shishito peppers
3 Cheongyang peppers
300g peeled quail eggs (about 30 eggs)
Braised Beef Sauce:
500ml of meat broth
150ml soy sauce
3 tablespoons of Cheongju, 3 tablespoons of Mirin
5 tablespoons of sugar (adjust to taste)
1 tablespoon blue crab fish sauce, 1 tablespoon tuna fish sauce

First, the chunk of beef shank
Soak in cold water to remove the blood.

After pouring water into the pot, the beef shank and
Add green onions, onions, whole garlic, and pepper
Boil for 20-30 minutes.

While the meat is being boiled and the broth is being prepared
I'll prepare the ingredients for the braised beef.
Wash the Korean chili peppers and whole garlic cloves thoroughly and prepare them.

Remove the stems from the shishito peppers and cut them diagonally in half.
Please cut it for me

Cut the Cheongyang pepper in half lengthwise as well.
Cut it in half again.

I'm going to make braised beef sauce!
150ml soy sauce, 1 tablespoon soju, 3 tablespoons mirin,
5 tablespoons sugar (to taste), 1 tablespoon blue crab fish sauce
Add 1 tablespoon of tuna extract and mix.

Once the meat is cooked to your liking, remove it and let it cool.
Please slice it thinly and prepare it.
In the past, I used to prepare meat by tearing it piece by piece by hand.
This time, I tried something a bit different and sliced it thinly like boiled pork.
I made it, and it turned out to be braised beef with a different texture.
It was really delicious.

Pour 500ml of pre-boiled broth into the pot.
After pouring the braised beef soy sauce,
Please simmer for about 20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Cheongyang peppers and to add another layer of spiciness
I added peperoncino.

Personally, I prefer adding shishito peppers.
I like them... I love the unique fragrance of shishito peppers... Haha

Now, finally, shishito peppers and whole garlic,
Then, add the quail eggs and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Delicious summer health food beef dishes
The braised beef is finished.

Kyaaa~~~!!!!
The chewy yet soft texture is absolutely amazing :)

Especially when you are sweating and lack energy in the summer
There is no better medicine than meat.
But even grilling meat in front of the fire
There are times when I feel tired...
In times like that, if you just have one serving of braised beef...
I finish a bowl of rice in no time~

If you make a generous batch like this
I can go without worrying about side dishes for a while.
It feels so reassuring :)

The savory and salty taste of the soy sauce base
Absolutely amazing braised beef!!!
Recovering energy in hot summer weather
