How to Make Guacamole for Home Party Food: Fajitas
This is Haru, who usually loves Mexican food :)~ Maybe that's why we often make it for home parties, but...

It's Haru, who usually loves Mexican food :)
Perhaps that is why it is also a home party food menu item
I make this often, on a tortilla
Tacos, which are topped with meat or vegetables and wrapped up to eat.
I like things like burritos and quesadillas.

My favorite food among them is fajitas.
No matter where I travel, if there is a fajita menu
It's good enough to make sure I order it every time... haha
I heard my nieces and nephews are coming over this evening.
Beef, chicken, and shrimp to get into the home party mood
A variety of options so you can eat a balanced diet
I'll try making it~~
Making Fajitas
[ingredient]
Tortilla
300g sirloin steak
500g of chicken thigh meat
2 packs of shrimp
[sauce]
salsa sauce
Guacamole
Sour cream (commercial)
[Making Guacamole]
3 avocados
1/2 onion
1 tomato
1/2 tablespoon of garlic
lime juice (from 1 lime)
salt, pepper
A handful of cilantro (optional)

Sirloin steak in advance
Sprinkle steak with pepper seasoning powder
I will marinate it.

Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to cold water for frozen shrimp
Thaw and prepare.

To remove the gamey smell from the chicken thigh meat
I'll soak it in milk for about 20 minutes.
It is light and the meat is tender, which is good.

Wash the chicken thighs that were marinated in milk and pat them dry with a kitchen towel
After wiping off the moisture, I'll sprinkle herb salt and let it sit for a while.

After melting a piece of 10g of butter in a preheated pan,
Place the steak on the grill and cook over high heat for 1-2 minutes on each side.
You know it tastes best when grilled almost like deep-frying, right?
That way, it locks in the juices.
Afterwards, grill over low heat for another 3-4 minutes.
Wrap in aluminum foil for about 5 minutes
Let it rest for a while, then cook to medium-well.
It's in a good state, so I think it's good for anyone to eat.

This time, I'll grill some shrimp.
Drizzle olive oil in the pan
Melt the butter and grill the shrimp.
At this time, herb salt or smoked paprika powder
If you sprinkle a little, it will have a slightly spicy umami flavor.
It tastes even better after coming up.

The chicken you've been waiting for—I'm going to grill some chicken thighs.
Drizzle olive oil over a preheated pan and flip it back and forth
Bake until golden brown, as if frying.
I removed the skin from the chicken leg meat.
Add butter when it is almost cooked,
Cut the chicken leg meat into bite-sized pieces with scissors.
Bake for another 3 minutes.

Adding butter at the end improves the flavor.
The umami flavor of the chicken leg meat has also improved.
I tend to add a lot of butter.
The chicken leg meat is slightly stuck to the pan and looks burnt.
You know it tastes best when you peel off even the hard parts, right? Haha.
It's delicious even if you just eat the chicken thigh meat.

If you find frying in oil burdensome,
I could boil the chicken breast and use that, right?
Chicken thigh meat, chicken breast, or any other part
It's okay~~!!!

Wow~~~
It really feels like home party food, doesn't it? Haha.
With the main ingredients beef, chicken, and shrimp
It has become abundant.
Now that the main ingredients for the fajitas are ready, let's make the sauce.
How to make salsa sauce was in the last post
Please refer to the link at the very bottom.
Guacamole sauce, a perfect match for nachos
I'll try making it~
How to make guacamole

Guacamole needs time to ripen after purchase.
When preparing home party food in a hurry like me
You can use products that have already been ripened and frozen.
After thawing, put the avocado in a large bowl and mash it.
If you use a potato masher or a fork
It crumbles well.

Cut one tomato in quarters, and the flesh
Remove it and cut it into small pieces.
Today, I will skip the process of removing the flesh.
I just used everything.
Finely chop the onion as well, and
Finely chop the jalapeños as well.

Add onion, tomato, and jalapeño to the mashed avocado
After sprinkling with salt and pepper,
Cut the lime in half and squeeze out the juice.
Please add all the juice from one lime.
Making guacamole is easy, too.
I used to use lemon juice instead of lime.
I used Lime this time and definitely noticed the difference!
If you want a more exotic flavor
please limePlease use
The taste is on a whole new level!!!

Ta-da!!!
The guacamole is finished.

It's also a fantastic match with nachos.
They say you can just keep going in endlessly... haha

Sour cream + salsa sauce + guacamole
Now that the three types of sauces are finished,
If you just lightly toast the tortillas and set them aside
The fajita making is complete.
You can also grill the tortillas in a pan without oil.
You can just warm it up slightly in the microwave.

Today's home party food, the fajitas, is complete!!!
Meat, shrimp, chicken, lettuce, etc. on a tortilla
Put what you want to eat on top, then add various sauces.
One bite and... this is happiness :)
A mouth full of various flavors all at once
You can really taste it, it's so delicious^^

Home party food is best enjoyed with loved ones.
I think it tastes even better when enjoyed together.
If you are wondering what to eat on the weekend
If you just buy the ingredients and bake it
How about some Mexican fajitas that can be made in a snap?
Of course, store-bought sauces are fine, but
I hope you try making it according to the recipe above.
It's fresh and much tastier.
